A premier that looked into the future
Consumer Electronics China (CE China), a global IFA event presented on April 20–22, 2016, was the premier trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances brands in China.
With more than 150 exhibitors and over 15,000 sqm of exhibition space, CE China created an optimal setting for successfully positioning brands and showcasing the latest product innovations and designs for the industry, retail sector and media.
CE China built on the huge success of the IFA concept and years of close cooperation with China's consumer electronics and household appliances industry as well as their channel partners.
Powerful brands and professional partners
The whole world of consumer electronics and home appliances was presented in April 2016 at CE China. More than 150 global brands, retail companies and trade organizations took advantage of the opportunity to present their products and innovations – and generate business contacts – at the new exhibition for the Chinese and Asian markets.
From Alibaba to Vargo, everyone involved reaped the benefits of keenly interested, highly motivated trade visitors as well as from the extensive global media coverage.
With a strong retail focus, first-class exhibition space and ground-breaking media support, CE China successfully placed its exhibitors and partners firmly in the spotlight.

CE China turns visitors into customers
More than 8,000 trade visitors from 43 countries visited the first CE China . True to the established IFA concept, CE China connects its exhibitors with the world’s leading distribution partners.
More than 33 % of CE China visitors came from buyer's groups, wholesale and retail companies, mail order houses and department stores. More than 89 % of the visitors significantly influence or serve in an advisory capacity for purchasing decisions. A substantial 81 % of these people said they were satisfied with their visit. Up to 83 % said they would be back for the next edition of CE China.
CE China impresses with a wide range
At its premiere event, CE China presented a remarkably wide range of products and solutions. Some 74 % of trade visitors were impressed.
Up to 49 % of visitors successfully established new business contacts.
High-impact media coverage with 19 billion potential impressions
More than 300 journalists from 50 countries attended the IFA Global Press Conference in Hong Kong. Over 450 journalists from 55 countries attended CE China in Shenzhen – with convincing results: International reporting resulted in 19.1 billion potential media impressions.
International TV reports resulted in 2.5 billion potential media impressions. International print reports resulted in 1.4 billion potential media impressions. Online articles resulted in 15.2 billion potential media impressions.
Shenzhen – A perfect venue for the latest technologies
Located in the city's central business district, the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center with its nine exhibition halls is one of the most important trade fair venues in China.
In addition to support from the Shenzhen municipal government, IDG –the world's largest publisher for IT, telecoms, and consumer electronics – has agreed to join forces with CE China. Support from this global media powerhouse means that exhibitors benefit from strong marketing and advertising coverage to ensure their products are firmly placed in the spotlight.
