CE China Gala Dinner Provides First Glimpse on Show

Shenzhen/Berlin, 3 May 2017 – Tonight about 100 guests representing government, business, media, sponsors and partners attended the exclusive CE China gala dinner in Shenzhen in regard to the opening of the second edition of CE China, starting tomorrow.
The CE China gala dinner is moderated by Gigi Ho and framed by speeches of Yuyue GAO Deputy Secretary GeneralShenzhen Municipal Government, Yaohua XU Executive Vice President of South China Region of Suning and Dr. Christian Göke CEO Messe Berlin GmbH.

Dr. Christian Göke, CEO of Messe Berlin expressed his gratitude to the Shenzhen government and stressed that the second CE China has a huge potential to be a success once again: “We are proud to present a range of top keynotes delivering highly interesting market insights.” He also pointed out that Messe Berlin and IFA developed CE China based on IFA’s successful concept of combining the needs and requirements of global brands, retailers and consumers. 

Yuyue Gao, Deputy Secretary General from the Shenzhen Municipal Government, talked about the vitality and creativity of this young city Shenzhen and said: “I want to wish CE China a complete success, and wish you all health, happiness and every success in your future endeavors”.

Yaohua Xu, Executive Vice President of South China Region of Suning, presented the reasons why Suning has joined CE China as premium partner: “As the leading role of Chinese home appliances and 3C products industry, we have 280 million online members and more than 4000 chain stores offline. We have been focusing on bringing cutting-edge technology products into the Chinese market”. 

CE China (4-6 May) will be officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 4 at 9:30 am.

From 4 to 6 May 2017 CE China welcomes more than 120 exhibitors and brands on a display area of 15000sqm at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Amongst them are exhibitors from China, Finland, Korea, Hong Kong, Russia, Israel, France, USA, Taiwan and UK.
